I am interested in the human form. I find solace not in the eloquent theories of many figurative artists, but in my undying desire to render planes of human flesh. I truly see myself as a vessel to make manifest the longing, fears and doubt I have within myself. I am also interested in both the fragility and the audacity of life; in both the beautiful and in the grotesque.

I view my work as personal exploration. Creating a narrative between inward and the outer. Through creating art I immerse myself in a visceral act of emotional release. I am enraptured and intrigued by the transcending power that this mode of expression carries. Even beyond the strife and uncertainty making art has become a constant.
